Operation SAFE (Social Aid For Everyone)

In the month of April, each weekend I visited senior citizens at the nursing homes and spent time with them. I bring them restaurant food (of their choice), ensures and little snacks. I polish the women's nails. A lot of times senior citizens have out lived their family, so now they are alone, or sometimes the ones with family their family either forget about them or just don’t make time to visit them. So my mission when I visit senior citizens at nursing homes, hospitals, or their homes, is trying to show them that they are still loved and that they matter

My monthly donation project is entitled “Operation Sharing Lives & Saving Lives”. This month, I had the pleasure to team up with various on-campus student organizations at NC State University. I was able to meet and greet with the President of each organization to help set up and coordinate day to day blood drives. As a recruiter, my goal is to assist these organizations by helping them to reach their goals. February was a really good month, and we were able to recruit over 500 donors, save 1,400 lives, and managed to connect and collaborate with other student organizations on campus. This project was extremely fun, and after receiving positive feedback from superiors it really made me want to do more and more. After having so many successful drives at NC State University, my supervisor appointed me to coordinate blood drives at a local Walmart and a Texas Roadhouse, and I was able to meet my goal and recruit donors as well. Both projects were successful and I was able to meet with some amazing business owners that was in the nearby area who wanted to connect with The Blood Connection. I look forward to sharing my March Project with you guys soon, and I will be sending my information to you at the end of the month. My plan for March 2022 project is to team up with the NC Eastern and Central Food Bank Center. I look forward to sharing more with you guys soon and thank you Miss Fashion Global for everything!!

This month I chose to buy and donate boxes of pads, depends, and bed pads for several senior citizen women that need assistance. Most of the seniors that I donated to live on a low income. These seniors have a difficult time getting around due to their age or illness. Due to covid and the condition of most of these women, I respected their wishes by not including them in the picture but they did grant me permission to take photos in front of their homes. One of the ladies did not mind taking a picture
